About Hadas CohenHadas Cohen is a famous Israeli wedding gown designer.
Born in Israel in 1961, Cohen had always felt drawn into the world of aesthetics, with a particular interest in fashion. At the age of 12 she received a sewing machine as a present for her birthday and began to sew with Burda magazine.
Following her high school graduation in July 1980, Cohen studied fashion design at the famous Bezalel School of Art in the holy city of Jerusalem. In 1991, immediately following the completion of her academic pursuits, she opened her first studio, designing wedding dresses. The studio is located in the southern desert city of Beersheva.
- Having been born and raised in the desert, Cohen’s designs are imbued with an earthly quality borne of her proximity to the nature that surrounds her. Her bridal gown collection conveys innovation, mixing contemporary trends that are always fashionable with a classical style that incorporates traditional elements of romance and a certain soft regality.
The gowns are known for their perfect shape, quality fabrics, attention to detail, and luxurious gemstones. Cohen continues to meet the demand for the classical, yet trendy style, and she presents a new collection every year. For Cohen, all her wedding dress designs start with a pencil line on paper. Those lines will then become the most important dress a woman will wear in her life.
